Adhoc Relief Allowance 2021 By Sindh Government

 SUBJECT : OFFICE MEMORANDUM GRANT OF 20 % ADHOC RELIEF ALLOWANCE - 2021 TO ALL CIVIL SERVANT OF SINDH GOVERNMENT AND PERSONAL ALLOWANCE FROM BPS - 01 TO BPS - 05 .

 The Government of Sindh has been pleased to sanction an Adhoc Relief Allowance -2021 @ 20 % of Basic Pay with effect from 1st July , 2021 to all Civil Servants of Sindh Government as well as contingent paid staff and contract employees against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment . 

2 . The amount of Adhoc Relief Allowance - 2021 ;

 i )  will be subject to Income Tax .

 ii ) will be admissible during leave and entire period of LPR except during Extra Ordinary Leave ( EOL ) . 

iii) will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension / Gratuity and recovery of House Rent . TENT iv) will not be admissible to the employees during the tenure of their posting deputation abroad .

 v ) will be admissible to the employees on their repatriation from posting / deputation abroad at the rate and amount which would have been admissible to them had they not been posted abroad . The term " Basic Pay " for the of Adhoc Relief Allowance - 2021 will also include the amount of the personal pay granted on account of annual increments ( s ) beyond the maximum of the existing pay scales . 

4 . PERSONAL ALLOWANCE The Personal Allowance , meant to remove discrepancy and bridge the gap between gross salary and minimum wages i.e Rs.25,000 / - , shall be admissible to the employees in BPS - 01 to BPS - 05 ( excluding police constables ) , as per following rates : 

i ) BPS - 01 Rs.1,900 p.m

ii ) BPS - 02 Rs.1,500 p.m

iii ) BPS - 03 Rs.900 p.m

iv ) BPS - 04  250 p.m

 v ) BPS - 05  Rs.250 p.m

5 . The Personal Allowance ; 

i ) is applicable to all those employees BPS - 01 to BPS - 05 whose gross salary is less than Rs.25,000 / - and will be digestible / adjustable against future increments as gross salary reaches to minimum wages i.e. Rs.25,000 / - .

 ii ) will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension / Gratuity and recovery of House Rent . 

6 . The above Adhoc Relief Allowance - 2021 and Personal Allowance shall be accommodated within the budgetary allocation for the financial year 2021-2022 by the respective Department and no supplementary grants would be given on this account .
